For the final concert of their inaugural year, the Bach Vocal Artists will present a program entitled “The Marriage of Music and Poetry” patterned after a Rollins College class by the same name taught for many years by Dr. Sinclair. This hybrid program will use beautiful choral settings and insightful commentary to explore the relationship between music, the language of sound, and poetry, the music of language.

The Bach Festival Society proudly announces the debut of the Bach Vocal Artists, an elite professional vocal chamber ensemble for music lovers in Central Florida. Members of the Bach Vocal Artists, selected from all over the nation, will be placed in residence and will perform three programs in their inaugural season. Join us for the first of these, featuring the glorious music of Joseph Haydn, Johann Hummel, and Fanny Hensel. This evening of pure elegance will mark the beginning of an exciting new Bach Festival Society tradition.
