SARAH MOYER, SOPRANO

known for her “purity and flawless range” (South Florida Classical Review), most recent and upcoming performances includes Orff’s Carmina Burana with MIT Symphony Orchestra, Handel’s Messiah with Baroque Music Montana, music by Strozzi with Boulder Bach Festival, Haydn’s Creation with Fort Lewis College, Gjielo’s Dreamweaver with Kantorei for SWACDA, Bach’s St. Matthew Passion and St. John Passion with Colorado Bach Ensemble, Barber’s Knoxville: Summer of 1915, Pergolesi’s Stabat Mater, and Monteverdi’s Lamento della Nympha with Skylark Vocal Ensemble, as well as countless Bach cantatas. As a choral artist, she appears regularly with Santa Fe Desert Chorale and the GRAMMY® nominated ensemble Skylark. She can be heard as a soloist on Skylark’s GRAMMY® nominated albums Seven Words from the Cross, Once Upon a Time, and It’s a Long Way, and is also featured on an album in collaboration with Christine Baranski of Sheehan’s A Christmas Carol. She can also be heard on albums with Variant 6, Seraphic Fire, Santa Fe Desert Chorale, Lorelei, Boston Revels, True Concord, and Boston Modern Orchestra Project. Sarah was a finalist in the 2019 Handel Aria Competition and is a 2015 recipient of the St. Botolph Emerging Artist Award. She received her Bachelor’s degree in music from Oklahoma State University and her Master’s degree in music from New England Conservatory. Sarah grew up in Bixby, Oklahoma, and now lives in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Alongside her classical career, Sarah is a Tin Pan Alley enthusiast and performs early twentieth-century popular music with her ukulele.
