Elana Gleason, soprano

Elana Gleason is a versatile artist who has been hailed as a “particularly beautiful soprano” with “pinpoint finesse.”  This past season, Elana had the pleasure of debuting the role of Joan of Arc in Maid of Orleans with Russian Opera Workshop, singing Tatyana in Eugene Onegin, and accompanying Lisette Oropesa as a soloist in her Starry Night concert.

Other professional appearances include the Staten Island Philharmonic, the Allentown Symphony, the Bard Summerscape Festival, the Natchez Festival of Music, and the title role in Tosca.

Ms. Gleason was the first-place winner of the Collegiate Scenes Competition at the National Opera Association and is a recent semi-finalist in both the McCammon Vocal Competition and the James Toland Vocal Arts Competition. She is currently pursuing a graduate degree in Vocal Performance at Louisiana State University.
