This program is part of the 78th Annual Bach Festival. The Bach Festival of Winter Park has been in existence since 1935, bringing outstanding choral and instrumental works to the Central Florida community. Scheduled over several weeks in February and March, the Festival usually features at least one of Bach’s major works as well as complementary works both large and small by other composers. Over the course of the Festival, choral and instrumental works and an organ recital offer exceptional variety to locals and visitors. Distinguished musicologists and other prominent figures present lectures of historical and scholarly interest to supplement the Festival programs, and audience members have the opportunity to enjoy behind-the-scenes access to select rehearsals.
