American Chamber Players

This one hour, informal performance is a great way to introduce your family to the arts and share the treasure of music. Led by Miles Hoffman, musical commentator, author, and educator, this program will enlighten all ages.

On this program, the American Chamber Players will be playing excerpts of the following pieces, while talking about them and engaging the audience in an interactive way:

  • Concertino for flute, viola, and piano E. Bloch
  • Auf dem Strom for soprano, viola, and piano F. Schubert
  • Trio for flute, violin and piano M. Dring
  • Variations on La ci darem la mano, for flute, L.v. Beethoven violin and viola
  • Three songs for soprano and piano, with S. Rachmaninoff violin obbligato arr. F. Kreisler
  • Four pieces for violin, viola, and piano, Op. 83 M. Bruch
