The Bach Festival Society is delighted to support its own orchestra. Very few performing arts organizations in the country are able to have both a top-rate choir and orchestra working together to produce fine music.

Bach Festival Orchestra members are professionals from across the Central Florida region. Many teach privately and at colleges and universities, in addition to their professional engagements.

The Bach Festival Choir and Orchestra have traveled internationally and performed in venues such as Smetana Hall in Prague and Galway Cathedral in Ireland. The orchestra’s high musicianship has been consistently recognized, and its playing has been described as “dexterous,” “gentle,” “vigorous,” and “nimble,” encompassing the wide and colorful range of the orchestra’s talents.
